Mother nature threw up a speed bump for the first day of spring in the form of a late winter snowfall. We are not deterred though, as warmer weather is at hand and we’ll be out working in the garden very soon.

Worthy of Words Wednesday 6.20.12 – Beginnings!

A newly planted Honeysuckle Vine (Lonicera sempervirens ‘Major Wheeler’), begins its long display of color on this pergola. In just a few years it will grow up and onto the top, providing a little shade for those that visit, and an abundance of sweet blossoms, that will prove irresistible ┬áto many a hummingbird!
